Unlocked SiM router not worKing

I bought a sim modem (tuoshi 4g wireless router ) and put my 4g talk/data SIM card in, but it doesn’t work. Anyone have similar issue/solution?

From what I can see they have limited bands that their devices support, however, that being said it does support the band used for Telstra 3G so it should be working on that at the very least. Is the APN set to telstra.wap?
