New sim activated, doesn't work on phone?

Hi all,

I received email form Boost saying my number transfer from old net to boost (Optus ot boost) has been completed and it is now ready to use.  But when I insert my boost sim, it is showing SOS (same with Optus before I changed sim card).  I have tried restarting the phone but nothing changes.  In the Mobile from Setting, it is asking me to Add Mobile Plan instead of showing Mobile network data.  Does anyone has same issue and how to you solve it?

I am thinking the port process is stuck, and you will need to talk to Boost support (on the phone is the only option at the moment - and there may be some delays).

I bought a new Boost Prepaid Sim $200 plan 12mnths. I already have a boost number under a Prepaid Sim plan which expired yesterday. I would like to keep same number.

 

But I am having problems activating the Prepaid Sim to Boost number?

 

Please help.

If you bought the new plan as a sim pack, you will need to talk to Boost support for assistance. Those sim packs are designed for new customers coming into Boost from another provider, rather than for existing customers recharging or changing plans.

 

Normally for recharging or changing plans, you just do that via the phone app, or via url recharge.boost.com.au

Thanks. I realized that today when I called Boost.

It's only my first year with Boost and with the new sim plan I just bought yesterday that would make it going onto the second year.
