Discount still valid after activation?

I purchased a prepaid $30 sim online when it was on offer for $8 however I didn't get the sim until after the promotion ended. Will it still be valid for $8 if I activate the sim after the sale date?

The discount is at the time of purchase. The sim card is preloaded with the $30, so the price you paid won't impact that.
