Expiry date

I'm interested in purchasing the $300 240gb 365-day expiry card which is on special for $240 currently.

When will the 365-day expiry start from? When I purchase the card or when I activate it?

The reason I ask is because my current post-paid Optus plan doesn't finish until the end of February and I won't be activating the Boost card until then.

It starts when you activate it. You will have ~18 months to activate it once received, so the end February should be fine.
