Autorecharge credit expiring before renewal date

I have an autorecharge setup for the 15th of each month. It has successfully renewed my credit previously, giving me credit for the entire month rather than the usual 28 day expiry. This month my credit has expired after only 28 days and I've lost my roll-over data.

According to the online messaging chat, that is expected behaviour. That even though I have set an autorenewal the credit will expire after 28 days, leaving me without credit for 2-3 days every month. But the website quite clearly states that "Your recharge will be set to the same date each month. So if it is a 31 day month your recharge will last for 31 days!".

I've tried calling the call centre but it's all automated responses and SMS and there doesn't appear to be any menu option that gets me through to a person.

Do I seriously now have to change my autorenewal date every month to account for 28 day expiry? It shouldn't be this hard to be your customer!

Re: Autorecharge credit expiring before renewal date

The auto recharge now works out the recharge date automatically (based on your expiry, mostly 28 days etc).

Any auto recharge setups created after December 2019, are this way (they used to be monthly on a set day before then).

Re: Autorecharge credit expiring before renewal date

...but as soon as this auto-recharge drops off (and they do!), you then created a new one obviously this can only be post December 2019 and you are forced into the 28 day cycle.  Deliberate?!  No doubt!
