transferring number

I recently lost a phone and so i've got a new one with a new sim card. I contacted the boost care number on 1258881 and was told that my number would be transferred within 24 hours and i would receive a text message notifying me of this. It's been 4 days and my number still hasn't been transfeered and i haven't been able to get through to the 1258881 on a number of different phones. If anyone has any suggestions it'd be great. THanks
