I boguht 2 Boost prepaid SIM cards on 15/10/2019, $135.00 each, one for my wife and one for myself. Received it and activated one on 28/10/2019 and another one on 29/10/2019.That was when nightmare started! We could neither make nor receive calls or messages soon after the activation. Every time I tried to call the phone number provided 1800 631 334 for help, waiting time was minimum 1 hour 40 minutes! The longest waiting time was 2 hours 40 minutes as I was transferred to another customer service rep. I eventually hang up! The 3rd time I called, I was told that there has been Telstra outrage in Epping NSW area. An outrage for 4 full days? Unheard of! Up till now ( 11:05am 01/11/2019 ), my phone still shows SOS only!
I asked for refund but was told that I couldn't as the card had been opened!
