Yesterday I bought a new Boost phone with a new Boost SIM included in the box. When activating on my laptop (after closing a pop up abotut the 3G network closing in 2024) the only choices I was given were either to transfer the number or to get a new number. Niether of these were what I really wanted. Because I couldn't contact anyone via online chat or phone I took a gamble and chose to transfer the number on the box because it seemed less wrong as my daughter (who the phone is for) chose that particular box for the number that came with it.
It has been 12 hours and I keep trying to add credit for her. A message pops up saying that the number is not activated and that activation takes 4 hours. This makes me think that I've messed it up. I still can't contact anyone via chat or phone. Should this problem resolve itself? Have I missed out on the 34GB for $15 that is currently offered to new online customers?
Anyone know if it will sort itself out or how I can get help?
