Purchase $40 card

Hi everyione

With the half price deal on at the moment, would it be wise to purchase 5 cards and use them month by month, or is it more economical to use the starter pack and rechage?

Thanks

Re: Purchase $40 card

The $20 deal is only on the starter pack activation (it isn't a recharge voucher inside - they apply it manually). So it won't help to bulk buy, unless you want to connect a heap of new phone numbers. Each number can only have the deal applied once and at the beginning.

Re: Purchase $40 card

The way I see it, for $40, I stopped using my home phone to make calls altogether. Double saving.

Re: Purchase $40 card

Thanks for the advice.  Can you also help with a cheap and reliable prepaid service which will keep me going for a while...  I am not a big user,  and I am a disgruntled ex- kogan customer!

You can try lebara, hello or such. They have unlimited plans for $30 however they don't offer much data but its not bad either if u are not a heavy user. They offer 500mb and 1Gb respectively.

Re: Purchase $40 card

There are some long expiry plans around. My mother-in-law uses a $20 6 month expiry offer from Telstra. The rates are expensive, but she barely uses it (used for emergency use only).
