It's now been four business days since I attempted to port my mother's number from Amaysim to Boost (activation attempt made on Jan 2, 2020) . Is this normal?
If there is a delay, we would appreciate at least an email update.
I used the 24x7 chat and it appeared that the porting process was "stuck in a pending status, and needs to be resubmitted".
Chat agent was very helpful and after resubmitting the details required, the porting completed within one hour.
The system could still be improved - an email to my mother indicating the above would have been very useful and I would have contacted chat support much sooner.
So my advise: if nothing happens within 24 hours, contact chat immediately. Don't wait around like I did.
