Ported number but still got a new boost number!!!

I activated a Boost sim, and during the process entered my old mobile phone number to port across. I select Kogan as the provider. However, after sign-up it says: 'JOHN, YOUR PRE-PAID SERVICE 0457379333 IS ACTIVATING". This was not my old number. I also got a SMS with this new number in it. Will it still switch over to my old number when porting is complete?
