Port number to EXISTING boost service

I activated a Boost service (12 month) several months ago and now want to port my old Vodafone number across to this service. Can this porting be done now a few months into the service? Or can this porting only be done when activating a new Boost service?

I believe that you can only bring a number across during the initial sign up process.

I am wanting to do the same thing (port from Optus to existing Boost number). Have you got any further with this?
