sim access error

i have got a new sim and it realised the sim straight away soon it was activate it said sim access error on my phone. I have turn my phone on and off taking for drive to see if it was my location but still no change what does this SIM ACCESS ERROR mean?

Hi This might be a bit late, however, most times this means that the sim card and phone cannot communicate Try cleaning the sim card contacts with isopropol alcohol if you don't have access to any then just use the cloth that you use for cleaning sunglasses or a soft t-shirt. hope this helps
