My car has been stolen and my insurance company wants a copy of my phone records. I am using my mother's phone, unfortunately she passed away a couple of years ago, and I did not update the account to my name. How do I get these records? The insurance company won't look at my claim until I get the records. Please don't tell me the insurance company can't ask for the records, that is not helpful, I have had legal advice and they can. I just want the records so I can move on. Thanks.
Just go on Boost Live Chat and identify yourself as your mum. You'll just need her full name and DOB. They may also ask you to;
"Please share any of two below mentioned information:
Credit remaining (can be checked by dialing #100# or My Account)
Last recharge date (can be checked by dialing #100# or My Account)
Last number dialed (can be checked through call history and My Account)"
Later on after you get sorted out with your car, I'd do a separate chat and explain the situation and get the name changed over etc.
