My mobile data is being used during the hours 1.30am to 3.00 am when I'm asleep and phone is connected to WIFI. The last 2 days it has used 1.6 GB and 1.2GB respectively. I contacted Boost who credited back 20GB. I have disabled mobile data whilst I'm at home. How is this happening. I am a customer before Feb 2021 and this has only happened in the last 3 months. I've used 3/4 if my data in the last 3 months and only 1/4 in the previous 9 months .
Seems odd. I am not seeing a higher mobile data usage recently.
As a thought....
Most phones have the ability (in their settings area) to see what data usage by app is. Might be worth checking to see if it is reporting any are abnormally high usage (maybe app is stuck downloading something etc).
As for the odd timing being reported, note that may just be the reported time of when the data session ended (so it may have been used earlier in the day, but just got reported overnight).
