Oh well I guess I'll go get a telstra sim
I bought a handset and it said I had $10 prepaid credit to start me off.
I looked up $10 prepaid and saw it was unlimited local calls for 7 days.
I made my first call and was kept on hold for 7 minutes and suddenly the call cut out and a message came on saying I had run out of credit.
Hardly 7 days!!
I finally found that I could still ring boost tech/ customer support and his answer was " you had $10 credit not $10 prepaid credit" He couldn't explain it any more as it must not have been on his script.
Nowhere on the Boost website have I been able to find a definition for $10 credit that is not the $10 prepaid.
If they had been honest when I first read things and made a clear distinction, I would not have waited on hold with my call.
I therefore have a bitter taste in my mouth from hidden fine print and will be buying a recharge SIM from another company.
